The end of June and another trip, this time all the way around the world, for work: a job interview at the University of Hawaii, a conference in Sapporo, and seminar in Tokyo, and some vacation: a visit to my sister and fiancé Simon in Seoul, a weekend in Kyoto, and quick stops (who can resist on a fully flexible RTW ticket?) in Bombay and Singapore on the way home. My first flight, from Paris to San Francisco, saw me flying right over Iceland.
